Mike Romano from Houston, Texas drove down last night to try his hand at the Oryx hunting before the April deadline.  The weather was horrible this morning and the fog looked like it was going to ruin our hunt.

Marcus and Mike went up headed up the hill to see if they could get above the fog and on the way up spotted a big bull at the very top of the mountain.  They used the fog to their advantage and got into rifle range of the big scimitar.

Mike made an awesome shot and the bull only went about 60 yards!

Troy White from Montana came to visit us in Texas and was looking to improve the size of the Addax he had on his wall.  We were able to do just that and on his second day hunting with us, Troy dropped this monster Addax in his tracks.

It looks like we are going to take the cake with this monster Dama Gazelle taken by Troy Smith out of Montana.  Troy hunted very hard during his stay with us in the hill country.  On his last day here he decided that he wanted to take a look at an awesome Dama Gazelle that we had on one of our hunting properties.

After some time behind the binoculars Troy decided this Dama would be a perfect addition to his trophy room and the stalk was on.  The Dama started off really spooky as Troy tried to spot and stalk his trophy.  Finally the Gazelle made it back over to the herd and decided to simmer down a bit.

Troy slipped in from behind the Dama and put an arrow right through the boiling room!  The Dama didn’t go far at all and the conclusion was smiles all around.

Steve Putman decided to go after a Trophy Painted Desert before he took his Trophy Aoudad.  Steve picked out the prettiest Painted Desert in the herd and laid him down!

Geoff Ridder from Canada decided to take a Trophy Texas Dall on his trip in Texas.  Geoff made an excellent shot and dropped the Texas Dall in his tracks.

Larry also wanted to take a Scimitar Oryx while he was in Texas.  He and Levi drove the ranch and when they finally located the Scimitar, Larry put a great spot and stalk on the herd and smoked this huge Cow oryx.

Larry drove all the way down from South Dakota to try for a beautiful Texas Axis buck.  Levi didn’t take long to put Larry on a great buck and Larry made light work of getting the job done!

Mike Griffin came down for a day hunt to try and take a nice Scimitar Oryx Bull.  Mike was a great client and was very successful on his hunt.  It didn’t take long and Levi and Mike had a huge Scimitar Oryx bull on the ground!

Steven Putman came down to hunt trophy aoudad with us in February.  Steve was looking for a nice trophy that would look great on his wall and we had some great rams in mind for him.  On the last day of his hunt we took Steve to one of our properties outside of San Antonio and he laid the smack down on a huge Trophy Aoudad!

Will Bild Jameson of Georgia came back down to Texas but this time he brought his son Triston with him.  Triston was PUMPED UP to get a chance at a nice South Texas whitetail.  Joseph Johnson was guiding Bill and Triston for the weekend and had them set up on a couple nice bucks that were coming in at a hot spot in South Texas.

When the opportunity finally presented itself for Triston to take his first whitetail buck…he was shaking like a leaf on a tree.  When Joe and Bill gave him the go ahead, Triston put the cross hairs on the buck and made him a superstar!
