Mule Deer Hunts In Texas

Ranch #1 will be offering 15 Mule Deer Hunts on 70,000 acres south of Marathon close to Black Gap. This ranch is minimally hunted and has a large deer population due to being protein fed year round and its numerous water locations throughout the ranch . This property recently acquired MLD status so we can offer Mule Deer from the 5th of November through the 1st of January. The Lodge is nice comfortable and clean with satellite TV. The average deer taken on this lease is about 160 inches B&C. The largest buck ever taken at this location was 198 only a few years back. We safari style hunt out of jeeps or racks in pick-ups, spot and stalk, and glass. This all inclusive package will have a hunt fee then a trophy fee only if you take a mule deer buck. We have found having a hunt fee then a trophy fee takes the pressure off of our hunters when choosing their buck to harvest. Aoudad or mountain lion if spotted can be taken for a $1500.00 trophy fee while hunting.

November 5th – December 20th $1500.00 for a 3 day all inclusive hunt plus a $1000.00 fee for a management buck.

West Texas Ranch #1 Standard Hunt

November 5th – December 20th $2250.00 for a 4 day all inclusive hunt plus a $2250.00 trophy fee for a mule deer buck of your choice. Additional days are $500.00 per day per hunter all inclusive.

West Texas Ranch #1 Rut Hunt

December 20th – January 1st 2012 $2500.00 for a 4 day all inclusive hunt plus a $2500.00 trophy fee for a mule deer buck. Additional days can be added for $500.00 per day per hunter all inclusive.
