Our Whitetail hunts take place all across the state of Texas and we have packages to fit any hunters needs.
Whitetail Hunts In Texas
#1 Hill Country Whitetail Special (low fence free range) $2500.00 for a 3 day all inclusive hunt package. You will be allowed to harvest 1 whitetail buck of your choice and 1 whitetail doe. This is a non guided you can hunt on your own and take the best buck you can or if you need a guide we can provide 1 for you.
#2 Hill Country Whitetail Special (low fence free range) $2750.00 for a 3 day all inclusive hunt package. You will be allowed to take 1 trophy whitetail buck of your choice, 2 whitetail does, and 2 wild hogs. This is a non guided hunt you can hunt on your own and take the best buck you can or if you need a guide we can provide 1 for you.
#3 Hill Country Whitetail Special (High Fence) $2000.00 for a 3 day all inclusive hunt package. You will be allowed to harvest 1 whitetail buck of your choice and 1 whitetail doe. This is a non guided hunt you can hunt on your own and take the best buck you can or if you need a guide we can provide 1 for you.
#4 Hill Country Whitetail Special (High Fence) $1500.00 for a 3 day do it yourself hunt we provide transportation while hunting and game care you provide your own meals and lodging while on this hunt. You will be allowed to harvest 1 whitetail buck of your choice and 1 whitetail doe. This is a non guided hunt you can hunt on your own and take the best buck you can.
#5 South Texas Whitetail Management Hunt (low fence or high fence your choice several ranches) $2500.00 for a 3 day all inclusive hunt package you will be allowed to harvest 1 whitetail buck up to 139 B&C (usually 8 points but not limited to 8 points), 1 hog or javelina, 1 doe when available, and any predators. This is a fully guided hunt 1×1.
#6 West Texas Primitive Whitetail hunt (low fence free range) This hunt is a 4 day all inclusive whitetail hunt package on 5000 acres. This hunt is conducted from wall tents and one of our primitive hunts. The cost for this hunt is $3250.00 you can harvest 1 mature whitetail buck of your choice and 1 javelina, or 1 turkey.

Mexico Trophy Whitetail hunts (low fence free range): This is a 4 day trophy whitetail hunt for $5000.00 you can harvest 1 mature trophy whitetail buck of your choice (160 average ).

This is the third year I’ve hunted along with my good friend, Joe, with Pope Brothers Guide Service and Outfitting. We found them online and after calling a reference or two and talking to Clay, we decided to book a four day Hill Country Whitetail Hunt. It was great!! We both took excellent whitetail bucks and does on that first trip. I took a large feral hog as a bonus.
Year two had us hunting near Blanco and again we took bucks and the does we wanted. That year the hunting across Texas was tough due to a lack of rain throughout the summer. Clay put us on deer even when the conditions were as bad as they can get.
This year we were back and again did great with good bucks and being overrun with deer. We decided to hunt axis deer does at a ranch near Blanco and I took a very good one. The next weekend I was back hunting with my son and 10 year old grandson who was hunting his first buck. Clay had scouted the area and put us in the right spot. He took a very nice 8 pt late that evening. He was so excited, but maybe not as much as his Dad and I.
I have been so impressed with Pope Brother’s ability to put us on deer and his use of a network of ranches. He has places to hunt just about anything that’s available in Texas and at whatever trophy level you may desire.
We’ve booked our whitetail hunt for next year already and I hope to bring back my sons and grandson later. Joe is considering hunting pronghorn antelope with Clay in October and I’m planning an axis buck hunt in mid summer.
I recommend that you give Pope Brothers Guide Service and Outfitting a very serous consideration when planning a hunt in Texas. You won’t go wrong. I believe that you find you’ll get an excellent hunt at a reasonable price.
