4-Horn Jacobs Sheep Hunts in Texas

We got a call from a friend of ours the other morning who manages a ranch down in South Texas his boss wanted to come on a 4-Horn Jacobs Sheep Hunts in Texas. We had a few other hunts going on that morning but I new I could break away and get it done pretty quick. We made plans for him to meet us at the gate at around daylight so we could get started on his 4-Horn Jacobs Sheep Hunts in Texas. After a quick lap around the pasture in the truck I knew with the wind the animals were probably bedded in them turned the creek so we decided to walk and see if we could jump them up. After a quick walk through we didn’t see them but once we got out to the big open field we quickly spotted them. We started the first stalk of his 4-Horn Jacobs Sheep Hunts in Texas and the sheep were quick to run for cover. I knew they had ran up to a creek drainage were we could possibly sneak in and get the shot with the bow we were trying to get. Once we got to the edge we spotted them right below us and he drew back to ready for the shot. As the 4-horn stepped into the open he release an arrow from the string and we determined it was a miss. Now the sheep were on to us and his 4-Horn Jacobs Sheep Hunts in Texas was about to get a lot tougher if he planned to continue with the bow. I decided I would try to get out ahead of the sheep and turn them back to the hunter and once I got them turned I looked across and he was now using his bow as a shooting stick and had the rifle up looking through the scope. As I got behind a tree the shot rang out and it sounded good. I could see 4-horn staggering and knew the shot hit home. So for a spur of the moment 4-Horn Jacobs Sheep Hunts in Texas we got in and got it done pretty quick and he was very happy with his trophy.

4-Horn Jacobs Ram Hunts In Texas

On short notice Mike gave us a call with hopes of coming for a 4-horn Jacobs Ram hunts in Texas. This was a hunt Mike had wanted to go on for 20 years so it needed to be a special animal to fill is dream of 4-Horn Jacobs Ram Hunts In Texas. So I told him let me see what I can do and I would call him back. After calling a couple of our land owners I had found a good one and I new we should be able to get it done in the short amount of time Mike had come do his 4-Horn Jacobs Ram Hunts In Texas. I called Mike back told him I had one and we could make it happen and asked what time they wanted to meet up in the morning. We agreed to meet between 8-9 up close to the ranch we would be hunting. So I got up and made the trip up to the other ranch early the next morning and after a couple minutes waiting Mike and a couple friends showed up to hunt. As we made our way through the pasture we saw some nice animals but we where here for mike to complete his 4-Horn Jacobs Ram Hunts In Texas. We finally got back to the pasture the 4-horn was in and I told Mike to go ahead and be ready. We made a pass through the more open side of the pasture hoping to catch the 4-horn out in the open. We found one but it was a young 4-horn. So I got back on the main road and we where headed to the brushy side of the pasture when we noticed some nice Sika deer running across the pasture in front of us. About the same time we all noticed the 4-horn with an identity crisis running amidst the Sika bucks. Well Mike’s  4-Horn Jacobs Ram Hunts In Texas was heating up and we where hot on the 4-horns trail. As they went across the pasture there was a low fence dividing the pasture in half and the Sika bucks jumped it and kept on cruising. Of course the 4-horn didn’t have the ups to clear it so he turned and came running up the fence. I told mike lets go and he jumped out along with his camera man Andy. We got out ahead of him but we where in the open and the 4-horn came across right in front of us. As he passed Mike put a good shot on him and he was down. After a few quick pictures Mike’s 4-Horn Jacobs Ram Hunts In Texas was complete. After I got home and caped out the 4-horn I quickly measured him and came to the conclusion that we had a top 10 TGR and ROE type of ram on our hands!! Congrats Mike on an awesome trophy.
